Can anyone recommend a hardwood fire logs delivery in the Teesside area? Quick Google and Copswain farm looks like a good price for a couple of dumpy bags but prices vary quite a bit from a quick Google search.

Bought from these last few years. Excellent kiln dried hardwood or softwood logs. Delivered in a large dumpy bag. They will stack them for you for a price.

Thanks. I'll give these a go and like the idea of getting them stacked.

When the gas runs out this winter the price of logs will treble.
Off we go with another bout of panic buying.

Price probably varies due to quality of drying and type of wood etc.

Be careful about just going for the cheapest, as a lot of the time they're not dry or not dry enough, so don't burn efficiently, should be 20% moisture content or less.

I get is "seasoned" logs, <20% moisture content and then also store them in my log store, and they don't get used for 1-2 years, so dry out better.

Last few loads have been from here: https://www.facebook.com/ScalingFirewoodCompany/
