Ferret keepers

Does anyone keep ferrets? and do you keep them outside?
We have a 5x3m chicken run with a home built coop, all under cover. I am looking to move the chickens on as I feel the space isn't big enough for the 4 of them (anyone wants 4 hens, 2 2 years, 2 1 year old, message me)

So I am wanting to turn the space over to 3 ferrets. The space would be perfect, but would need a but of ferret protection, i.e. swapping the 50mm weld mesh with 25mm weld mesh etc. I'm interested in local people who keep them outdoors.

Cheers

I’d stick with the chickens.
Ferrets stink of **** and their eggs are horrible.
Try getting some younger chickens. At 22 years old they’re probably not laying as many eggs anymore 😂

Jokes aside I have a little knowledge and my neighbour keeps them. Are you getting them to work or as pets?

I’d go with penguins. Very tidy. Lay only two eggs and they’re good to poach.
