Feedback on new site thread

Not a big problem but when I open on my phone (which isn't often I admit) all I see are the pinned posts.

Merge (if possible) the feedback & temporary changes threads - or get rid and have 1 new one.

The Spotify playlists one can go for me as could the breathing techniques and volunteer threads.

Agree with this - the last posts in those three are May 26, Apr 9 and May 8 and for me aren't worth pins any more
 
I haven't got the latest version of Xenforo that allows me to merge threads - the patch (version) was far from perfect in that some functions actually do not work with it - so am waiting for the next version before upgrading. Blackpool has the patch and for instance you cannot access What's New anymore.

Just unpin those two threads. Then start a new sticky one for feedback and site info. If people want to see the old threads they can search for them.
 
Why not just have an announcements sticky with the rules at the top and have any key information you want to announce, be announced in that post as a sticky? There's still 5 there now which is way too many. you shouldn't really have any more than one or two sticky threads otherwise its untidy, and there certainly shouldn't be sticky threads with no posts since 26th may. All of that can easily be covered by replies/edits to an announcement topic.
 
New error for me here. On the Brave browser on Android the forum is now only a column down the left half of the screen (see image). I suspect it's something to do with Brave's adblocking feature.

Does it bounce back to normal size again or remain narrow?
I ask that because my android browser loads it narrow and resizes immediately.

Yep, same here on tablet and smartphone. It doesn't resize

It's a nightmare now if you're a quick reader and try and jump between threads with this resizing.
It's definitely the adverts.

When I’m logged in, on any device, it takes ages to load the page, or most often just goes to a blank or cannot load error page. It works fine when I’m not logged in.

This has only been happening for the last week or two, so maybe linked to the new adverts?

Anyone else had the same problem?
 
So, what browsers and what devices does it not resize back to normal on..
And is everytime you refresh etc?
It looks like it is linked to the last changes made at the end of last week.
These changes were specifically for phones. But could be the same for tablets. They react and resize in the same way.

Amazon fire browsing on bing and Samsung A40 using chrome or Samsung internet. It's always shifted left it isn't a refresh thing, it's all the time
 
Goes full screen for a split second on a refresh but then narrows. Works fine on Chrome on my Samsung S10e, it's definitely something to do with the Brave browser's adblocking I think.

I have exactly the same problem for two weeks now. I even tried to set up a new user I’d which is normal speed when logged in but I can not post I literally don’t see the post message button.
