Feedback on new site thread

If you use google as your search engine you can search specifically on a site by using site:sitename then your search criteria.

To find your post above I searched for
site:fmttmboro.com "guess not then"

and it returned

Thanks for that. I'll use this next time (if there is a next time). It's actually not a problem that is confined to this site; I've found a similar issue with message boards on different platforms including one with a more sophisticated search facility than this one.

Can we get something like this set up?

I can count on one finger the last time someone bumped an ancient thread for good reason. 3 months after the last post should be sufficient to archive / lock a thread, after which if someone wants to start a new post about it they can, but it would stop the regular occurrence of someone having a few shandies and dragging up old posts or trudging through the forum to find all the people that had a different opinion a year ago.

Hi Rob. Any chance of looking into the possibility of a cancel reply button? Sometimes you go to reply and have 2nd thoughts to either not rise to the bait or get involved in the debate. I'm not sure if it's unique to Chrome on Android but I can delete all of my reply but I can't get rid of the reply box unless I post a character and then delete my reply.
Obviously if I go on another thread it's not there, but if I then come back to the same thread the blank reply box is still there.
