We’ve been discussing Cloughie on an another thread on here and ( as I understand you do read posts on here ) some of the posters have given you a cracking testament of excellence . Here’s mine :

You can’t put a price on the impact NW has done to not only the club ( which is obvious by the performances ) but also the area of Teesside .
In this forsaken year of 2020 ( in all aspects of life ) in my opinion he has been the biggest shining light we’ve all had to look up to .
If you’re reading this Neil , well done buddy . In fact I’m going to post this separately so hopefully he does see it .

So come on Boro fans , detail your feelings on here so hopefully he sees how much we love him .

To Neil,

You are my favourite boro manager of all time. I’m sure given time and backing you will keep doing the fantastic job you are. I have never felt the fan base like this where we are as one in total conent with the manager and his decision making.

Hope you are here for a couple more years yet and you get to see how we feel about you in the stadium and through our excellent away support.

Absolutely no doubt about it that he has saved the club. We were going to be relegated until he walked in and especially with how things are I dont think the club would have ever recovered. It would have been absolutely devastating for the area if that had happened.
As a club we have had some fantastic managers who have had some fantastic achievements with the club, but keeping out of league one in the long term will be almost as significant as winning the league cup or the European run.
Fans seem more behind the team now than even in the promotion season, just hope we can get back in the ground to enjoy it.

Only a wizard could have waved his wand over the sorry state the club was in and lifted it to one with pride and that can hope again.
It is a dramatic impact you have had and however long you stay (hopefully a long while yet) I will be grateful that you came to dig us out and give us that pride and real hope.
Get that place in Cornwall sold and get out to Swaledale or Wensleydale; get you and Sharon settled for life.
Cornwall's ok, but North Yorkshire is another level.
You know it makes sense.

I got shot by a certain poster for continually shouting from the rooftops I wanted him here & had been campaigning for him to be our manager since Aitor left, even before Mogga came, he was my favourite manager that never managed the mighty Boro, I was shouting before Monk came through the door & each manager since
I agree his short stint as manager has not only a massive lift to the Boro but the area as a whole, he loves it & here & probably making up for lost time

The players he's rejuvenated in his short time here is amazing

An old school manager & one of the best for us & ticks the boxes for me in terms of things I wanted to see at the Boro

I wonder if GGGG posts on here under a different name who continually called me out

The guy is completely infectious- he spreads positivity through to fans and players alike. This is a very special talent you can’t obtain from a training manual. To retain a love and enthusiasm of the game takes a very special person.

His home may be in Cornwall- but he is very much one of us.

Neil, thank you. You’ve given us back the club and one we can be truly proud of.

Neil, well done on getting so close to Tony Pulis' win percentage! Keep it going upwards!
Warnock's win percentage is 44%
Tony Pulis' win percentage was 43.75%

It's not just about win percentage. Tony Pulis was given the keys to a Ferarri in the championship and he drove it live a tractor.

Warnock has come in, saved the team from relegation, chucked out the dross and put a much needed arm around the younger players.

Old school manager meets old school ran club. Match made in heaven

Neil: you’ve done something amazing and harmonised everyone behind you, the club and the lads.
I can’t wait for a full stadium to sing your name so loud it will hopefully ‘make the hairs stand up’ on your neck for you.

It’s truly sensational where we were and versus where we are now because as another poster eloquently described how relegation to league one would’ve been devastating for our proud club and Teesside as an area!

Neil. Thank you so very much
