He is a wind up merchant. Don’t believe he’s actually a Derby fan but you are right he’s pretty harmless we just have playful crack from time to time. Don’t feel for any genuine Derby fans to be honest though can’t stand the club and some of there fans are absolutely deluded. Just a club I can’t abide and hope they get relegated.

I would never have had an issue with Derby fans in the past but there seemed to be so many awful ones about on social media when Mel was deliberately exploiting loopholes, lauding him for finding ways to outmuscle the rest of the Championship and stay just about out of trouble for it.

In reality he moved heaven and earth, taking all sorts of risks, to pay exorbitant sums to a bloke who, as for most of his career, is a hired gun who doesn’t really give a ****, and is no longer even any good at football. I hope the whole league learns a lesson from this disastrous strategy.
 
How they were never punished for calling off the game v Cardiff a few years ago was a disgrace too!!
