FAO Bombero

Sorry mate i'm still hoping to swing an invite with a signed copy of the box set,Coast to Coast:The Golden Years.

That is great mate!My evening viewing sorted. When was the gig? Looks nice n intimate venue too. Sounds like they had fun filming it too.

It was a couple of years ago, in the upstairs of a rock and metal pub in Camden. I was still on crutches at the time, as I recall a debate as to whether I'd be allowed in, because there was no easy way for a disabled customer to exit in an emergency. It preceded the gig you and I were going to go to.
Good luck with your signed box set. :)

I used to drink in the Hawley Arms back in 86,fun times. Good to see Lord Byron didn't impede you that evening. Haven't had a drink for a while,so i'm gonna grab a bottle o red in honour of EES.

Your timing is impeccable Sir. We're in the middle of email problems, thought it was about that. Your invite is warmly received. I'll dig me flares out right now Mr 'we shall be'. Best wishes to u n u yours. If you could squeeze this track in early doors,it tends to get the dance floor going even without a drink.

As long as it doesn't degenerate into "Human Thigh Bone Music". I'm not sure even my broad tastes stretch to that. I'd even prefer Erimus's Dooleys to that. Although I'd have his young un on the turntables in preference.

I've got to admit, that one had passed by me. Loved the intricate cowbells, with the highlight being 5.57 to 6.05. Played it all the way and couldn't stop laughing, but then i like Stewart Lee too. I inadvertently watched this link first and Brass Eye,and Portlandia came to mind.
