Fao anyone tech savy on mobile phones - help needed

My wife has just bought a new phone direct from Samsung, handset only. She's currently with 3 and has moved the sim card from her old phone across but her number doesn't seem to have followed.

Anyone come across this before?

Nevermind, seems to have sorted itself out!

Even if it has sorted itself now , you want to really 'make sure' its really sorted by switching it off n on again. You'll see if it needs further sorting out by the results of that reboot .
