The first time I had ever heard of Lindisfarne was a freezing cold Boxing Day at Roker Park. They played Clear White Light on the PA before kickoff. It sounded good in the echo chamber that was Roker.

(Score was 2-2 iirc, Hickton diving header on the rock hard pitch)

There were so many lovely moments in that doc
So, just listened to the whole of Dingly Dell and am now on Statues and Liberties

Been looking for complete Dingley Dell for ages. Ive got it on vinyl but stuck in a friends garage.
Now it has been posted on Youtube in August this year. Really looking forward to listening to this full album that I havent heard in maybe 30+ years now. Still remember most of the words to the songs. Might have to get the Karaoke mike an airing.

Some great never seen before footage on the doc. Sad that Ray Jackson got a raw deal or at least thats what came across. Shades of Alan Price / Eric Burden.

Rarely watch this type of programme as I find it usually ends up about people being interviewed rather than the subject.
This broke the trend and was really fascinating and lots of interest to keep me hooked.
Thought Sam Fender also came across well and a thoughtful constructed informative film, well worth a watch.
