I never watched the original at the time but have watched bits on YouTube since, and I just can’t see it standing up to the original.
Will give it a go but just don’t trust Sky ever since they gave James Corden a job on A League of Their Own.

Watching it now, loved the Forest / Steve Cooper sketch with the opera singer at the end

I’m absolutely loving this so far. Watching Phoenix from the Flames they manage to write it exactly how Frank/David would have done it. I’m usually sceptical of these reboots, and I dunno if the nostalgia factor will wear off quickly, but so far I’ve been mightily impressed with how they’ve totally recaptured the show’s spirit almost 30 years later.
