Fans Forum Discussion

What topics are there that you would like to discuss with Boro - think of the rest of this season and next season also.
I have the question about "free pints" stored up. That question could also be tied up with whether they will be able to open concourses at the start of next season. Then the council have to agree to food/drinks stands outside the stadium. Lets hope that we are all clear by then.
What other ideas or questions do people have?

Yeah - that point is something they have definitely been looking at - and obviously everyone is hoping that it will be unrestricted but yes I know they have definitely been investigating different ideas if numbers are restricted. Which is good to know.

BB - I didn't - I will try and ask again - the Boro commercial guy was ill last month so we did not get every point answered fully. We do know that it is a percentage of what EFL refund. The money goes to EFL. I know from some other questions raised that EFL control some of the stats on these things. I will try and get an answer. I think they are writing off a lot of money.

What's the current status on safe standing?
I know many fans were in favour of an option to stand, but forgotten what the club's response was if there was one?

Off footy a tad but was the charm of Teesside and it’s outlying areas a factor in his ( sorry & Mrs Warnock ) extended stay ?
I know he doesn’t want to bow out in a sterile empty stadium but where/what may have enchanted them , such as fish and chips at Saltburn or Cleveland Way etc , and were they pleasantly surprised ?

sorry wrong forum I guess , but could you save that one for your chin wag with Neil ? Ta

The financial state of the club and in football might delay this coming in everywhere unless grant funding was made available.
I got this off Joe website - price was four years ago - so might not be as accurate now - but even so...
"Depending on the number of seats, currency exchange rates and a few other variables, the ball park figure is around £80 per seat. By comparison, a top-of-the-range conventional grandstand seat might cost around £60, while cheap and cheerful budget seats come in at around £30. So rail seats aren’t cheap."
They then ask "But what price do you put on safety?" But am guessing there will plenty of other safety issues next year following covid.

He asked the fans at one of his zoom to recommend places they could go. Great Ayton was one answer I recall.
Also how long it would take to get to Saltburn.
This was a while ago and he has been now I believe.
He does love the villages around about doesn't and his wife also who joins him on her bike. He was talking about the flowers in a churchyard that they cycled past.

Hello again - we now have confirmation of the date of the next Mbro Fans Forum on April 19th.

This thread is being noted for suggestions for things fans would like to raise for discussion with the football club. This could be queries about next season or it could be suggestions - ideas raised for improvement.
So, I would suggest have a look back over this thread before posting suggestions because everything already raised has been noted down already.

I'd like to see early bird season ticket prices available to all at the same price for at least a shortened period next season.

I'd also like to see Boro Pride card reintroduced.

The average match by match fan very much feels like an after thought.
