Factional Hostility toward Corbyn

Here is the reaction of some of the perps as the 2017 exit polls came in.

Regardless of which party you support, or which leader of a party you support, you would hope that this kind of thing wasn't happening. After reading the discussion above do you really think the best thing to do is ignore the corruption and move on?

Labour’s own international policy officer said a pre-GE2017 poll showing a surge in support for Labour made them “sick”.

"An extensive internal investigation into the way Labour handled antisemitism complaints will not be submitted to the Equality and Human Rights Commission, after an intervention by party lawyers."

Well that would make the right wing of the Labour Party look bad wouldn't it? And regardless of how you view your leader, surely Death by Fire should not be on your wish list.

Been trying to read over it all this morning, there's nearly like 800 pages, but the parts I've read have wound me up beyond belief. Many of us put our blood, sweat and tears into improving the party and fighting for the 2017 elections and we were being undermined by un-elected and unaccountable ****. such as McNichol all along.

We all knew McNichol was an ****, and many of us celebrated when he stepped down, but this is pure party sabotage.

As a few of us have said if certain people haven't got their resignations on Starmer's desk tomorrow morning, then they should be instantly sacked. This is his first big test as leader of the party (as opposed to LOTO), and he needs to show he's able to stand up to the right wing element of the party.

He'll ignore it.

Ended my direct debit this morning after reading through so much of the leaked material yesterday. The Labour Party is a completely pointless endeavour.

The more you read, the worse it gets. We are talking literally here, about the right wing of Labour being prepared to sabotage two GEs to halt Corbyn and his policies. The right wing of Labour preferring another Tory gov with all that that entailed re austerity and the attack on the sick and the poor, the underfunding of the NHS and the Police services etc, to stop Corbyn.

The full report is here.

I’ve often wondered when the internal politics within the party have undermined el cation campaigns, if factions of the party were moles from the right wing. This makes me think my suspicions have some foundation.

Part of what problem ? That Corbyn could not beat the most corrupt, lying leader of a party I have ever known, a party that had over a decade of policies of weakening the poor, managed to get Redcar and Blyth to vote Tory ?

Live in the real world, most in the military despised him, his background was poisonous , he voted against his party more than Cameron did, we had no policy on Brexit. He was London centric

The problem of actively trying to ensure that the Labour party lose an election. I've worked for the Labour party since the 70s. I've never seen anything like what the Blairite wing of the party did, across social media, in the press (Guardian for instance). Just disgusting.
