F1 sprint races

What does everyone think

I’m not really getting the point of these if I’m honest. Take haas now finally cracked fry top 10 but what do they do for 30 odd laps.

Well let’s see how this one goes

Not really a fan .. it's basically just an extra 23 laps onto tomorrows race with the equivelant of a "red flag" in between .. if they did something different with them then it might be interesting .. reverse grid : even if it's just a reverse of each quali section (so Top 10 reversed .. 11 to 17 reversed .. 18 to 22 reversed) ... random tyres assigned .. drive round backwards .. whatever .. just "something" different ..

So how deep and involved will it be well Think football manager levels of depth and micromanaging.

As their latest vid shows.

I was looking forward to the GP this afternoon. Having watched the sprint though, and watched Max cruise to a win, I’m less optimistic of an entertaining race.

I see Verstappen's Dutch fans have been covering themselves in glory again (not).
Sexist, racist and homophobic comments directed at anyone not one of their own.

When I posted on here after the Spanish F1 Grand Prix I attended I commented that Verstappen's Dutch fans were bringing an arrogant 80s football fan mentality to circuits and its time for it to stop.

That smoke is ludicrous

Never a penalty for Russel for me, where is he meant to go? he's on the apex and on the curb isn't he? What is he meant to do? Disappear?

Good move from Lewis, he seems to have had less grip than you'd expect early doors.

It is weird that the Mercedes engine seems to have the lowest straight-line speed this season.
