Very, very good opening day performance from the boys today!
Steffen, Giles and Leinhan all played really well!
Chuba Akpom looked great and you can tell he's got that fire to be here again after having it stamped out of him by Warnock. Was buzzing yo see that ovation for him.
Loved that Marcus Forss immediately picked up the ball and went for goal, I don't care it went miles wide, that'll do for me!

If you're a striker watching that, with Jones and Giles causing havoc, you should be getting your agent to get the deal done immediately.
Our strikers are gonna get so many chances this year, I can't wait, good point, looking forward to some more additions!

Exactly, we can only get better from this point and we won’t play too many teams as strong as West Brom. Plenty of positives to take and a point is a point and we move on. Get the right players in and get the ball out to Giles and Jones and we be just fine.
 
Wonder who the 2 we might have in before qpr there’s a pic going round of someone at the game who fans are guessing is a potential player but it could be anyone

I’ve seen that pic. Not sure it s a footballer or not.

A fella on oneboro reckons one of the 2 could be Muniz
 
Watched the first half at work whilst doing some prep in the outside room.

Personally I thought we looked phenomenal. Giles and Jones are going to make us lots of goals this season. Giles delivery is absolutely superb.

First half alone was worth the admission price. One of the best halves I've seen from the Boro in a few years. Second half less so, but WBA are a big fit team who'll be in the top half this season. With a couple of additions I think there's more to come and feel positive about today's performance despite letting a lead slip.

Like I said only saw the first half. Considering the make up currently of our squad and the opposition it's the best I've seen us play for a while. Always on the front foot. With an actual goalscorer we would have been out of sight at half time
