Exchange Square

Yeah. Makes sense to demolish Slam. Just need to something with the old Bar Fresco now, it’s an eyesore. Only party goers in there now are pigeons and rats.

Anything happening with the old Cornerhouse under the train station?

I remember when it first opened as the cornerhouse about 20 years ago it was actually a nice restaurant / bistro. I went there a few times for lunch - it’s a nice old building

What are they doing with the other nightclub on the other side of the road? Spensleys side, thats been run down and shut forever.

Be a shame to sort Exchange Square and still have that eye sore shut up and dingy. Nothing a jet wash and some fresh boards wouldn't fix to be fair.

Your photo looks spot on Rob, place looks nice now (y) I used to work close by, would've loved that space back then.

Bar fresco was turned into a Pizza Shop (or did i just imagine that?)
Maybe briefly? The street view shows a pizza shop sign on the other side to where the bar fresco door was so maybe it was a split unit, but sign also looks ancient for that

Bar fresco wasn't huge but feel like it was too big to be a pizza shop but who knows

This article from 2016 suggests it was to let still and with planning permission for a second floor and outdoor beer garden but guessing it's a ******** inside after being empty so long that it won't be cheap to work on?
