Boro have in so many ways it all to lose by restarting football - we will stay up as it stands and pretty likely would have done if games had continued after Charlton.

I get the financial arguments. It’s more than that though. It’s integrity. Fair play if the noises from the Club are to restart. Our remaining fixtures are kind. Mostly against mid table teams who have little to play for.

I don’t see it as a gamble. I see it as an opportunity to put things right in a season which has in the main been a huge disappointment.

It’s a mess and a quandary whichever way it goes. For me, it doesn’t feel safe to resume, but that’s not on the basis that it would benefit the club

BB - from all accounts from as far afield as Brighton and Saltburn - lockdown appears to be over now. I suppose that is all due to Dominic Cummings - it looks like we are embarking on a brave new world. Let's all hope that it is safe out there.
