Ex player transfer scenario

Bamford too injury prone lacks confidence but maybe Carrick could solve that.
Traore good footballer but not very good at football. Spends too much time standing whilst the game goes on around him.
Tavernier probably the least gifted out of the three. But with Carricks help he could turn out to be a real beast in midfield. His best is yet to come, the other two their best is behind them.
Tav for me!
Tav has been pretty damn good in Bournmuff's midfield this season, when he's been fit and playing. Showing he can more than hold his own. Under Carrick's stewardship, he will come on leaps and bounds.

We've had Traore, let by-gones be by-gones, stong in the Championship, not so great in the Prem. But we don't need him now.

Paddy - Shame he left when he did, but can understand why. Not the same player as he was, but saying that, if we could get him for peanuts, lets see what Carrick can do, and also alongside Chuba.

Think the ship has sailed with Paddy now, injuries catching up and he hasn't been great.
I think Adama under Carrick who would focus on the good and put an arm round him would be a good move for him. Also being in an environment where he felt the love so much he felt the need to pen a heartfelt goodbye on the club website could see him be outstanding.
I'd take Tav back all day every day.

I'd double transfer Adama and Tav..is Adama's contract up in the summer?

Bamford is a superb player, love him to bits, but has had injuries and most likely hasn't got that many seasons in him left.

If the players mentioned stayed fit, then I would pick Bamford, he is an intelligent footballer when he's on it.
Trouble is, he picks up injuries more often than not these days.

Tav. We play lovely football and move the ball well, don't see how traore compliments that, think he would disrupt our style/rhythm/team ethos.

Can't believe bamford is nearly 30!

Bamford was called up with the England squad only a little while ago. Take away our loan players and he plays in the position where we would most need quality players. Injury-sminjury.

I love the way it is a hypothetical fantasy football type question and people are still putting financial restrictions in the way.

Bamford would be quality and would excel under Carrick but I do agree injuries would be a worry

I'd love to see Adama back here. I think he'd be great on the right wing in our side as well. I'm not too sure where we'd fit Tav into this side. Don't think he works as one of two in centre mid (and think Hackney is a better prospect) and I would prefer McGree over him on the left. Bamford has too many issues with injuries, which is a shame because he's a proven Premier League striker now.

Out of all three I'd have to say Adama for those reasons.

Probably Traore. He still scares the bejeezus out of premiership defences. Would be a useful weapon towards the back end of matches.

Bamford is getting old and, as others have said, injury prone. If you could guarantee games then I think he'd be the best fit in this team.

Tav would struggle to claim a first team place and I doubt he'd want to be playing second fiddle. He was the missing piece under Wilder, where we needed that link between defence and attack, but Carrick has solved that problem.
