Now represents a death in the UK of covid19, it's no wonder why the majority of people simply don't want the current restrictions lifted.
There is rightly little trust that this government can get it right.

Also the majority of those on the job retention scheme don't want to go back to work because they are on some cases better off than when they were when they were working.
Me? I have no issue going back to work but because the population of his country lacks confidence in itself I'm not allowed to yet.

The furlough scheme cost £8 billion last month. They can have too many more of those.

Our excess deaths are also significantly higher than other countries too.

What is important is for us to remain focussed on doing everything we can.......

And at the same time it does also make you wonder why so many other people are continuing to behave like everything is normal, and putting so many people at risk.

They have no choice.
Either let all of the people get back to work and loosen the measures OR they will have to extend the job retention scheme indefinitely untill they allowed to go back to work as normal. If for example they do stop the job retention scheme but still won't allow the hospitality and tourism industries to reopen there will be riots in this country and rightly so.

Many people prefer lockdown because of the fear of what's next. Redundancy, second wave, attempt to go back to old ways, there is lots to fear.

Yes, I can see the waitresses, chamber maids and night porters putting the barriers up from our front window.

all of the low paid workers in those sectors are from the communities that don’t really take much ****. The ones with higher crime figures, more violence, social deprivation, lower education etc. I know your not bothered when they make your bed in your cheap city break but Randy is right.
With no income and no job they’re likely to kick off as that will be the only option

He wouldn't have a hotel to stay in for his cheap city break mate if they don't open up the industries soon, simple as that.
