Dyche's first game in charge and he gets a good reception from the fans. I'm hoping Arsenal rip them a new one.
Everton are sat that deep, Arsenal could play with a rush goalie.I'm hoping for a Everton win
The most cringeworthy statement relating to football, regardless which club it refers to!These supporters are truly unique in the country.
I think it is more to do with them flirting with relegation for so long, similar to Coventry, that fans would like to see them drop out of the PL. I don't get the fear of them being in the Championship that's been mentioned on other threads, many of the players will leave and they will have to start again.I don't share the antipathy to Everton.
I have a soft spot for them really: my first Boro match was away there in the cup in 88.
Yes, their fans have a overinflated opinion of their own support, and where their club belong. In that, they are the same as every other set of fans in the country.
Beyond that, I understand there are a few lasting grudges from the hooligan days of the 70s and early 80s, but I've never experienced that.
There's a lot to be said for the 5 clubs who have always been in the top flight in my lifetime having a stint outside the PL, but other than that, I've got nothing against Everton.
I thought there were enough Arsenal players there to deal with it and I am sure there's a block/leaning on an Arsenal player preventing him from dropping half a yard.4/5yards out surely Ramsdale should be trying to catch/punch that away.
Seeing it again, Ramsdale should come and punch.4/5yards out surely Ramsdale should be trying to catch/punch that away.
