Ever wonder what happened to Robbie Wiltshaw?

A really interesting story about a real folk legend of the town, Robbie Wiltshaw. Did any of you know him or have you heard about him? Our very own Rob knows this story well, in fact he described him recently as ‘not so much an underground legend but an underwater undercurrent’, and they have very similar names.
‘So popular was Scubes, it was thought at the time that nothing could ever go wrong for him until, of course, it did.’

Benjiboy Sorry to hear that you didn’t like the story. It was written by one of the younger members of the team and the rest of us thought it was genuinely amusing, particularly the section on Frankie Valli and the sentimental bit at the end. Anyway, we hope it wasn’t too much of a waste of your time reading it and we hope you might like some of the stories we’ve got coming up. Cheers.

I enjoyed it and the "Oh What a Night " connection made me laugh. Well done
By the way (because I cannot be bothered going back through the threads) was it you who posted about the "fight" between Linthorpe and Acklam yesterday. I was in the pub and showed it to my pals and we all had a good chuckle over it.
Keep them coming!!!

I think you need to tell us a bit more.....what is the story behind the stories and who are the writers ????

Trug We really appreciate your comments. Means a lot and the young writer is absolutely chuffed. Yes, the ‘fight’ story was ours. By the way, if you’re on Twitter, we provide updates on many of the stories we cover. Please follow us.
