Eurovision

I love eurovision and was tempted to try get tickets for the Friday night run through (as it's the full show that the juries use to give their marks) but it's actually the thought of getting somewhere to stay that's put me off.

Years ago I experienced the worst New Year's Eve of my life when a family member misguidedly bought me and the then Mrs V 31st December tickets to see Mamma Mia live at that huge hangar of an arena in Newcastle. It was excruciating.

I'd rather go back there than go and see Eurovision.

That's it you've convinced me. I'll tell my wife, daughter and granddaughter to forget it, because HarryV reckons it will be crap.

Erm.......it's not a personal insult, you know. We don't all have to like the same thing. I'm sure you'll all love it. Peace out.

Totally sold out. I was queueing for a friend who's a huge Eurovision fan but was at a funeral this afternoon. Kept joining queues with "2000+" people in front of me, and by the time you finally get to the front they've all gone.

Saturday tickets already on the resale sites for £8.5k each...most live events are sold out to the touts within minutes these days!

Nope, I've taken your advice. I didn't realise it was worse than Mamma Mia on Hogmanay in a huge hangar of an arena in Newcastle.
My family are relieved because they didn't realise that either. They think it looks so much fun on TV.

Thing is, I've already booked accommodation in Liverpool. Should I cancel it or go for a weekend anyway? Maybe see some sort of Beatles stuff?

Let me know.
Thanks.

We've got accommodation but the lasses will be coming to the pub now.
