England v Ireland at Lords

Ireland seem to be a lot poorer than last time we played them. Obviously we’ve got better, but this kind of mismatch can’t be good for international cricket. I guess they are guaranteed a day out at Lords every four years, have we ever played a Test over there?

Perhaps Test Cricket could adopt a Nations League type format?

There are only 12 test cricketing nations to begin with, so there's not much strength in depth in the sport.

They haven't been playing any red ball cricket over there either, by all accounts. They're reintroducing it next year.

They managed a decent knock on a very good batting pitch in Sri Lanka a couple of months back but still lost both tests by an innings.

They need a proper red ball format in Ireland and a decent ground.
They have to build one as they have been picked to host some world cup games in a few years time

Cricket is is only a minority sport in ireland where only one man & his dog support it would like if ye gave Hurling a go we would walk all over ye I dont know why ireland plays your game as its only mostly played in dublin anyway .
