I don't think we should even try to be clever with it.

Southgate should pick what he thinks is his strongest team and go all out for the win.

If we do win, we're guaranteed to have qualified and can experiment against the Czechs if need be.

It's not worth the risk of a surprise result to tinker so early when progression isn't guaranteed.

Boro Legend in nets…nothing gets past him and everyone knows keepers are a little bit weird

Ex footy legs (if have the right poster 😀)

Corcaigh on the left wing, although worried he’ll make the pitch 4 miles wide

plus any new right winger imported from COB, possibly Berwick Hills Bopper, on form last couple of day….

its foden or grealish for me, wouldn't play both of them, particularly if its at the expense of mount. I'd give Grealish the nod on friday though, he's the type of player who'll get them well wound up.

I wouldn't mess around, I'd just go with our strongest team. Scotland didn't look that bad against czech republic and I can't see them not starting Adams against us who would have definitely finished some of those chances they had in the first half. Plus they're going to be absolutely fired up against us, no point playing a weak team in what is essentially a local derby.

I think the team will be tweaked especially if Maguire is available. Switch Trippier to the right, bring Shaw in at left-back and Maguire at left centre back.

Grealish for Foden and the rest remain as they were.

I think Grealish has a knock.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same team except Shaw in for Trippier.
I think you could be right. I can see Southgate not risking Maguire immediately, but definitely wanting a natural left back in place after Mings performed well last game.

The Grealish situation is being managed I think. He's got issues with shin splints apparently, so probably missing certain training sessions. I reckon he's needed against Scotland if available.

I'd play Foden against Scotland just for the fact he's on a yellow card.

If he get's booked then he misses the last game and it's out the way for the 2nd round. If he doesn't get booked then you leave him out of the third game and give someone else a game and cards are wiped after the group stage.

A lot of posts on social media are just about doing Scotland's team talk for them. Jamie O'Hara on Talksport this morning with Brazil & McCoist was embarrassing. It's no wonder a lot of Scots hate the English and say we're arrogant.

Jamie O'Hara is embarrassing all of the time, how he has a job I do not know.

Andy Robertson is their biggest danger so it will be interesting to see who Southgate goes for to counter him. Walker would be the obvious choice given his speed but he had a dodgy game against Croatia.

Robertson is definitely the main danger but McTominay could easily get the better of Rice, Philips and Mount too. It's not an easy game. The players and coaches will know that.

Will be interesting to see if they start with Gilmour too. There's a lot of clamor for him to start.

Definitely. Tierney is probably a key decision for Scotland. He slots in on the left of the back three and overlaps with Robertson. If he's fit, England might go for a 3-4-3 with Walker and Trippier on the right to combat it.

I'm heading offshore today we better not get beat at a minimum or I'm getting it haha....I remember the last tournament when we got knocked out they announced it with pleasure over the tannoy... its there biggest game
