England Penalty

I thought it was nailed on once seeing the slow mo
My logic was simple can anybody rule out that kane pulled the shot (therefore missing) because he seen the incoming challenge that never got the ball, if the answer is no it can’t be ruled out it’s a penalty for me every time

A challenge like that pretty much ended my outfield 'career' so it is dangerous even though it is not intentional or reckless, it's just a fraction late and it is with the studs rather than the side of the foot, top of the foot shin etc to try and block the shot.

Penalty, but very unlucky for the defender.

The real question is not whether it was a penalty... It was under the current rules. The real question is whether the rules should be changed... Should a penalty (an 85% chance of scoring a goal) be awarded for any foul in the penalty box, no matter how inconsequential.

True and whilst she's been excellent throughout the tournament she was clearly wrong on this point.

She mentioned something about going "above and beyond" which is patently written nowhere in the relevant section of the rules of the game!
I noticed that and agree that she’s been excellent up to that point. I think she must have gone native a little bit, having been in the company of Neville and Keane for nearly four weeks.

If Spain is awarded a penalty in the same circumstances on Sunday, there won't be a single post on here saying it was the correct decision.
:)

I'll quite happily say it's a penalty if one of our players boots Morata/Joselu in the foot.
