ENG v IND 3rd test

Once one of these are out can’t see Joffey or Bash hanging around. Wouldn’t be surprised to see England bowling before lunch.

Is it right, and in the spirit of the game, that Bumrah takes so many rest-breaks then comes straight back into the attack?

Smith has got to 30 in no time at all, it’s exactly the reason he shouldn’t ever bat higher than 6 or 7. His game is ideal for this scenario.

Always remember years ago when The Aussies would go 5 down. Gilchrist would come out with the counter punch. Massively important position in the middle to lower order.

there are rules that if you are off so more than x overs you cant comeback and bowl for y. He will be very careful not to breach x. a lot of quick bowlers do it, on a day like today I dont blame them

Been a really good partnership. Steadied the ship and quickly put up 50.
I think India will be annoyed they've let it get away from them a bit when they had us right on the ropes.

It’s their own fault - poor tactics…..Gill spread the field thinking Smith and Carse would smash everything….. they just picked off singles lol

This ball change crack is farcical..needs to be the umpires decision and instigated by them. Starting to resemble football with players whinging in the ref/umpires ear.

The whole ball change fiasco was instigated by Siraj when they were on top and Bumrah was unplayable. Since then they’ve looked hapless.
