Hang on lads. Can you change those T Shirts to "Carse and Bashir"?England are definitely winning this the hard way but I can see those "Smith and Bashir - Miracle of Edgbaston 2025" T shirts being printed as we speak.
I think we'll struggle to reach 608 now but I'll take the draw in the circumstances.
I can't see any reason why that shouldn't happen. He has plenty of time to get them.Just need another 50 odd of those Bashir 6's. Simples.

And what am I going to do with all of these "Miracle of Edgbaston 2025" T shirts?Ah, left stranded.
That is exactly what it is…. It’s arrogance!I genuinely hope Stokes comes out with some contrition, he's done the team over with this arrogant obsession with chasing anything.
Bowling was poor first innings, but had no chance second after no real rest between innings.
We cannot chase 400 every test.
Credit where it's due - India are a very good team who've played very well throughout most of the first two tests. Most other countries would be 2-0 down in the series now.
It's hard to say that a 336 run defeat is down to the toss - on the balance of play they've been far better than we have.
Sorry Thursday!Well deserved victory for India, lots for England to think about for Friday at Lords.
I agree with you that on this occasion we should have batted first. Playing devil's advocate, Stokes would probably argue that batting second and playing on the psychology of Leeds and earlier matches gave us the best chance of winning. Ulimately, they outplayed us over the 4 and two thirds days and it's unlikely we'd have beaten them whatever we did with the toss. That's the point, India are a very good team and to win, you need to give your side the best chance to do so. We definitely did not do that by bowling first on a road in the best conditions of the game.
That's the arrogance, I don't believe Stokes/management respected India's bowling attack without Bumrah here. The bullies got bullied.
