Didn't Preston only want £7m for him? Surely it would have made more sense to have paid the money for him, rather than signing "projects" such as Forss and Hoppe.

I get that it wouldn't be in line with our new recruitment strategy but what's the point of having this strategy if we're not going to play the players who are signed? How is it benefiting us?
