EFL to be settled on Weighted PPG system - If restart plans fail.

Rick Parry new proposed plan:

'Weighted PPG' would calculate each side's average home and away points pick-up so far this season and apply that number to each home and away game they have left.​
The idea is that this system would avoid clubs with a large number of home games left to play from missing out on boasting the home advantage.​

The mechanism would see Leeds United, West Brom and Fulham promoted to the Premier League with Charlton, Luton and Barnsley relegated to league 1.
 
There is also talk that leagues one and two will be ended this week with again top 3 up and bottom 3 down as per weighted PPG.

The reason behind this is a lack of money to complete the extensive coronavirus testing that the prem is proposing.

Can’t get away with ideas like this. Either Null and void the season or finish it whenever we can, preferably the latter. But stuff like this just winds me up. Football is a serious business and you can’t just relegate teams who may not have been relegated imo.

With all the legal stuff what would happen to the new season? How can it start when clubs are still in legal disputes which could go on indefinitely?
Each option has issues, just finish this season when Covid-19 allows.
I've always thought that sport should prevail providing health and safety can be maintained.
 
Btw this isn’t a post about a discussion in a pub it’s what the efl chairman is about to propose announce.

Due to cost of mass testing.
 
Looking at the current championship table no one has a game in hand and the top 3 are all above the rest on points (No gd factor) same with bottom three again no outstanding games or team’s on equal points.

You can’t as per contracts. Lower leagues 50% out of contract
 
I have said from the beginning, ALL, teams in ALL leagues should wait till noramlity has resumed & complete the season, why should Liverpool be the only team able to complete their fixture & crowned champions, why not Stockton Town, Whiby, the small team in Wales. isnt football / sport suppose to about fairness?
If the SMALL team in Wales, who have gone the whole season unbeaten & were all but champions in name & have their season null & void & records wiped out, then so should Liverpool & the rest of the greed is good PL, what makes them different is sport, only a football team like the rest of em, supporters, like the rest of em, a bloke sat in the kop with a scarf full of badges is no bigger fan than my 2 mates who follow Stockton Town & Marske United all over the country
Why should the EFL leagues be promoted / relegated on a ballot, what about last minute runs which are part & parcel of football
Another reason, when the football season doesnt kick off in August what then, pools panel, with more behind closed doors friendlies

Ad you say July 1 is the deadline to conclude the league:

That’s the issue

If weighted ppg isn’t fair how is your squad being different going to be fair. Clubs need to cut their cloth and they will not want to keep the players on
