Three of the four goals Whittaker has scored this season came in September as he bagged a hat-trick in victory over the Canaries to contribute towards his inclusion with a WhoScored.com rating of 7.41.
Central midfield: Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (Leicester) - 7.39 rating
Only two players registered more assists than Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (2) in England's second tier last month, while only Gabriel Sara (16) made more key passes than the Leicester man (15) in September.
