.. does anybody know if this ever got resolved? It seemed day after day that Covid was going to wreck and ruin EFL club finances and how 20 clubs could be bust before Christmas .. and then everything seems to have gone quiet. Did the PL give a payout? Did the government?
 
I think they did the deal For league 1 and 2, who got money straight away, championship is more adhoc they have to apply for loans on an individual basis
 
Have we? Does anyone know? It was such a big issue but has gone remarkably quiet? Gibson was pushing this very aggressively

I doubt you’d find anything public if we did, think they did the championship like that as some of the owners are richer than the premier league, such as Barnsley, potentially Derby’s new owner. The Coates that own Stoke are billionaires as is Bristol City and Prestons owner
