It's because you bring absolutely no balance to your posts. Whatever you says goes.
You totally dismissed a fantastic achievement in getting Forest Green promoted, in his first ever job. He then took a leap of faith and went to Watford ( a well known basket case) surprise surprise he was sacked within a few months like many before him and many after him. It's Watford.
He then takes on another challenge and quite ballsy decision in going to their arch rivals who were in a good position after some good work by the bellend Nathan Jones. He takes it to a whole new level and gets them promoted. An absolutely magnificent achievement, little old Luton in the prem.
In the premier league, he had a couple of months getting grips with it and the lack of quality is clear. He then changes his tactics and tries to go toe to toe and gets plenty of admiration for his efforts from the majority of the footballing world in the uk. Ultimately he was relegated and he says himself whilst he's proud of himself he classes any relegation as a failure, but there is mitigation to that as we all know. If he keeps them up it's a miracle.
The season gone was undeniably a shocker from him. He had ran his race at Luton, he sadly couldn't turn it round. The club had some unbelievable times with him there but it ended a bit rubbish for him. He then left them in a poor position but not an unsalvageable one.
Looking at it like that, I genuinely see it as 2 successes ( promotions with FGR and Luton and then a season of what was expected in the premier league and then a shocker the season just gone.
I would personally discount Watford cos he barely had time to get his feet under the table and any club sacking a manager after such a short space of time deserves everything they get.
Next up, Middlesbrough. He's coming to the biggest club he will have managed at, big expectations. A despondent fan base in some parts, a healthy budget. Some good players but plenty of scope to improve. He's a good man manager and flexible and can deliver promotion. He's done it twice.
He knows the structure of the club and after having a previous working relationship with Scott and Jones they should be able to get the recruitment of players right between them. This is a very important job and something they all need to get right for success.
