So more than likely parents attending but kids not bothering. If that’s the case surely u would just get around this by scanning your child’s season card when u go in yourself.

Don't leave it too late lads and lasses.
Tried to renew ours over the weekend on line, but the payment wouldn't process.
Had to do it over the phone (the exact same card details on the system were used 🙄).
Took a good while to get through, despite only bring 3rd in the queue.

Renewed last week for me and the lad and have to say this is the least optimistic I've ever been following us,next season Gibson has to deliver a team on the pitch we can believe in and get behind.
We need a Nigel Pearson and a Grant Leadbitter type for starters and we need another Bernie Slaven up front and another Stewy Downing wouldn't go amiss.
The Latte Lath money needs to be spent and we need to get the right characters in

Yup, with Sunderland and Newcastle performing far better than we are it really brings into focus how far off the pace we are.

Nope, still haven't.
The way I'm feeling about football in general at the moment means I'm unlikely to renew this time.

But we have Whittaker

Whats the situation with moving seats. Do you have to renew current seat and then wait until season ticket holders are done and then go and ask them about moving.

Yes, renew and then send the ticket office an email and they'll get back to you with your options

I’m with you. I’m not renewing.
No. Definitely not. No, no, no. It’s not happening. It’s really not. I’m certain.
I never renewed after the lockdown and can't ever see myself getting a season ticket while I have to pay the extra money for new season tickets to renew.

Before you decide to make the decision not to renew, I would suggest you think hard about the extra payment you might have to make in the future and walk up prices.

You don’t have to wait but it’s worth noting that some additional seats will be freed up when the early bird deadline passes if you’re looking to move somewhere that doesn’t have seats available before then.

I’m not sure that’s a good approach. To keep shelling out if you don’t really want a ST in case you want one in future just because that initial ST will be a bit more expensive.

I gave my ST up at the end of last season. I’ve been to the games I actually fancied attending this season and missed the ones I wasn’t bothered about or had other things to do.

Even with the walk up
Prices I’ve saved £350, which already covers any premium I would need to spend if I decided to buy a ST again.

I wish I’d given it up earlier to be honest. It’s much better to pick and chose, it gives you freedom to do other things and saves you money.

The problem with a ST is you feel obliged to go regardless of how you are feeling, how they are playing, bad kick off times, bad weather etc. How many games do you trudge off to the match thinking “I can’t be @rsed with this today”.

My mate has decided he wants to take over my other halves ticket next season and has given me the EB renewal money (I’ve suggested he goes to a shrink and gets himself checked out mind). I’ll now be renewing both of mine.

Tried last night on my IPhone, but when the payment went through to the authorisation page with my bank, the authorisation part on the MFC site was hidden by the initial front screen so I couldn’t give confirmation.

Some of the ticketing site is so clunky and badly designed. I’ll do it on laptop today and see if that’s any better. Sure last time I tried buying tickets on a laptop I had issues with the card payment going through. Guaranteed I’ll be ringing the ticket office by 10am!

We've missed some games this season for a variety of reasons but one of those reasons is certainly "I can't be @rsed with this". Winter midweek night matches bear the brunt. Over £1k between us which when you think about it is £1.5k of salary pre-tax. Haven't felt this way about (not) renewing for a very long time 😔
