As others have said it's largely a deduction from the squad after the outbreak. However, where Watmore's concerned I'm sure Warnock made a comment just afterwards that Watmore was hit particularly hard by COVID.

Completely agree BL, perhaps he's one of the players Warnock thinks should be stepping up.
Those first few games he reminded me of Nick Barmby...he's been poor since the new deal there's no denying it !

To be honest it’s good no one is using Covid as an exception for poor results here . But i do think it wipes you out , it just be more so for a footballer .

Just remember at one point we didn't even train for 10 days. That's how bad the covid was. That's 2 matches we didn't prepare for.

I think Warnock publicity mentioned Johnson and Watmore as heavily struck down. Interestingly both have been bombed out recently.
