Drinking in the seats

Lads bringing pints up to their seats in the East stand after half time - no stewards on the concourse or on the stairs anymore so no challenge - not clever

Not clever in the sense they might get in bother.

Otherwise, why not eh. I couldn't watch that without a bev.

Good to know for next time I go. Absolute victimisation why football fans can't but fans of other sports can.

Classic legislating for the minority, if people aren't behaving, deal with it without penalising all other supporters.

Seems to be creeping in.
Only seem to police it properly in the south stand.
They might police the drinking but what the hell was that about today, about ten of the RF cretins jumping into the disabled section?, which also had some young kids in to try and remonstrate with people in the lower tier, what a pack of Doyle’s…..😒

Yes, noticed that.
No idea what is was about.
Also in the first half some aggro over a banner being held up.
Anybody any ideas?

Sometimes we are quite idiotic in this country. I don't agree with the drinking ban anyway but we initiate changes in law for (we think) the best of intentions, in this case crowd trouble. Then by the time the legislation is past it has morphed into not being allowed to drink within sight of the pitch which means that if you are sat behind a glass window in a restaurant or private box and you have a drink, you must close the blinds.

Whilst I don’t see a problem with it and think it should be allowed, it is currently against the rules. Seems to be the done thing this season though, as have seen loads in the North stand doing it.
