In theory yes but getting anywhere near the level required will be Impossible. Take the amount of households in the uk, the majority will still be able to afford bills so won’t want to risk not paying so the amount who would be willing to take part will always be a minority.It is a good idea. But it's a one in all in thing. If we all did it actions would have to be taken. You current prosecute 66 million people that easily.
As others have said though, we won't all do it, and the fewer that do it the greater the risk
But it’s also a valid point with how these companies would recoup the lost billions if every household did this, wouldn’t bills just go up further or even worse the companies go bust?
