Dominic Cummings

The Thick Of It might have been slightly exaggerating things at the time, but these few years on and it seems like the political establishment looked on it as a challenge to up it's game.

Can’t you keep your ramblings on the old board. Most people are posting on here they are happy there are no polictical threads now the anti Tory/Brexit brigade are here too.

Do you just spend your days searching for things to get outraged over and then post them online to get more outraged? Life’s too short try and enjoy yourself must be torture wanting to be outraged 24/7

Everyone thinks he's some kind of genius but actually it was in the opposition parties gift to end Boris et al for good. An absolute travesty that they couldn't agree on this and we're now left with this mob and the unelected bureaucrats pulling the strings. Sound familiar?

lol

It's almost like you're worried its not going to be sunlit uplands from now on and you'd prefer to draw a discreet veil over the whole affair.

Hardly just asking you keep your political ramblings to the old board. There is plenty of traffic there for you to get outraged with for the time being. Don't see the need for you and others to do it on both

Funny how Cooper only complains about “political ramblings “ when it embarrasses the government. I’m sure if this had been about Seumas Milne it would have seemed funnier to him.

interesting that

I was thinking the same thing: if Armando Iannucci had pitched this badly dressed idiot as his Malcolm Tucker (or technically Stewart Pearson) it would have been laughed off as being too ott

Not really no. I haven't even read it. Just a simple post asking why you can't just keep the political posts on the old forum. Couldn't care less what it's about

Cooper, if i remember correctly had as much,if not more, to say on the Brexit/political threads than most.....must have found something else to occupy his mind

I imagine he’s trying to change the subject all the time because the extend to which Boris is lying to us is becoming clear. Also the problems of brexit are being more and more obvious now even Govey is telling us how damaging it is.
Cooper doesn’t strike me as someone who can possibly admit he’s wrong so obviously just wants to distract, deflect or ignore now.

No I just have a life which isn't filled with impending doom. Why not just enjoy it instead of waiting for the doomsday to arrive. Why would I admit I was wrong, I voted conservative and I wanted Brexit. I am more than happy with the current situation. In 5 years time if I am not then I will vote for a change, that's how our political system works.

Think I'll have a coffee now :coffee::giggle:

You’re happy with being lied to? You’re happy your sunlit uplands utopia is going to be costing the economy money? Wow. I’ve said it before but ignorance really is bliss.

I suppose I should give you some credit, you’ve realised what a clusterflock brexit is going to be and, ok you struggle to admit it, you at least know enough to try and hide your embarrassment by trying to ignore it.

Nope I am happy with everything thank you very much. It really isn't difficult to grasp though. Looking forward to the next phase and the end of the transition period.

One of the reasons I voted leave was I was willing to risk that things could get worse to see if things could get better than the status quo. So I won't be embarrassed by anything anytime soon. I am willing to wait quite a few years 1st before seeing whether I am right or wrong. So I wont be changing my opinion on Brexit for a long time (y)

Coooper does not like talking about politics.

Well a quick look at the top ten posts on the old board, do you want to guess which two he has posted on?

"3 top reasons Labour voters deserted them "
"Corbyn giving Johnson a good kicking"

Probably just a coincidence?
