Does Bettinelli save anything?

As early as the Bournemouth game people pointed out the save he made from Brooks wasn't that impressive but was the only save he'd made all season.

The goals against Barnsley in the cup were embarrassing. The rebound goal against qpr was poor goalkeeping.
When he was attracting prem interest plenty of people would drive him there.

I've never seen a goalkeeper be easier to go round. Huddersfield, Brentford Bristol City... he basically did nothing everytime.

The reason he had so many clean sheets early on I think you'll find we had faced the least shots on target in the country.
Even a keeper as bad as Bettinelli can't concede without a shot on target at him.

Those saying he's not the worst keeper in the league, I think you'd find it hard to find a worse one and despite the poor goal return from the strikers I have no doubt he is absolutely the biggest weakness in our team. Put it this way, even if you're playing well you expect to face at least one shot on target. I would suggest a very high percentage of reasonably hit shots will go past him, which is a terrible position to be in and I bet his teammates feel exactly the same.

Can't argue with the stats. All three goal keepers with worse save percentages have not been regulars and have been dropped at least once this season, but we haven't even tried anyone else. 🙄

Without looking it up, aside from begovic and Foster, what's the combined transfer fees for every other keeper on that list, less than £10m.
I think it shows its not too difficult or expensive to find a competent keeper in this league.
