Does anyone else accept we are in a relegation battle?

We have a new manager, so I will be putting my faith in him to get the best out of under-performing players and a window to strengthen the obvious weaknesses.
I've no idea what Carrick will do and how we will do under him, but he's got my support.
A good number two and he can leave Woodgate to put the cones out.

I am really worried we could go down.

A yes man appointed who took an age to decide.

A head coach bailed out by Neil Warnock as we were heading to league one at pace.

Never been so underwhelmed by an appointment.

Nobody else has ever made a move for him.

I think this is going to end in tears.

Papa Johns 7pm kicks off next season.

I think we are doomed.

I hope I am wrong.
I don't know if we are or not really. We look poor but there's lots of poor sides. A couple of wins makes a massive difference in this division and can change the whole perspective. We'll have a good indication when we've played a handful of games after the world cup

Like it or not we are indeed in one at the moment, because we are right down there. I'm excited about Carrick, but definitely concerned about the short term. We need a realistic approach to moving away from the bottom of the table, and playing like Man Utd isn't it. My worry is that playing like Man Utd is what Carrick knows. There's a reason teams at the bottom call Neil Warnock not Pep. And ok, they can't afford Pep, but their players can't play Pep's football either. The Champo is brutal, and knowing how to grind out results when you're struggling (or have no functioning midfield) is an art. I would really like an experienced no.2 in place who knows how to get results in this league.

What about one who knows when the league table is lying? 😆

[October 25th]

Get to the World Cup and the Team / Coaches will have the opportunity to regroup, reorg and get set for the battle in December - moving forwards.
Carrick and Woody have connections in the game and Carrick [particularly] will have players in mind.
Huff and puff to bonfire night, then the work begins.
We saw what the core of this team was capable of last season - that ability and team work hasnt just fallen out of the players shorts: the rest of this season is about player coaching and performance, not the Manager [look at me].
Get behind Carrick an Woody.
UTMB (y)

ps. I was underwhelmed by the nature of the recruitment process - but it would appear the club were negotiating agreements acceptible to Woody, Carrick and maybe others?
