I’ll be surprised if we see Doak before the international break now.

We have to get Conway and Latte Lath both on the pitch together and start scoring some goals.

When Carrick changed formation on Saturday and had both on it seemed to me that they were both making the same runs. They are more or less like for like. If we play both up front they need coaching to do different runs and not duplicate each other.

I was suggesting you can't play them both in a 4 2 3 1 , as both are only useful as the 1

Do you think it was wise to have only two recognized CF in the squad , who offered similar ( non physical presence ) style of play ?

Why? Many clubs add them. A recall clause would probably allow us to negotiate a lower payment to loan him

I was going off Liverpool's web site and it just said a season long loan. I remember reading on RTG a couple of weeks ago some of their fans were saying we'll take Doak off Boro in January. I thought nothing of it. Makes for an interesting January though.

There is only one way that sunderland could take him off us and thar is if they buy him from Liverpool. They couldn't afford him, so it's not going to happen.

There could be a recall clause where Liverpool could recall him and then re-loan him out.

I have no idea if there is but there could be. Most loans do. We have a re-call clause in Coburn's loan where he can be re-called in January.

It just sounds like paper talk though

Liverpool won’t move him from one champo club to another, unless he’s not happy here and not getting game time. He might not settle at another club and end up more on the bench.

Bergzorg was the option, the fact he’s been awful isn’t the point. Forss was then fourth option.
