Do you want Warnock next season?

Manager with a proven track record of working wonders within a budget at Championship level, if he keeps us up, which I’m sure he will, then what’s the downside of giving him next season to see where he takes us ? I thought we’d have done better with him in charge but it’s difficult to make a judgement given the abnormal times we’re currently in, if we survive, and he wants it, then he deserves the opportunity to see what he can do with his own signings and a preseason to work with the players.

I do think the fact that he basically has one day to train the squad between games is bound to have a huge impact on his usual methods.

He'll have been in charge for 8 games in only 25 days, with a squad that is almost entirely new to him.
He'd be hard pressed to drill in anything consistently before a match or to prepare for a specific opponent.

They did what he asked them today and it was rubbish.

I noticed him saying a few comments, not always picked up by media people that sounded like he fancied staying. He likes Gibson and Bausor too and the area etc. But it would all very much depend on us staying up. And how can we think beyond that at the moment?

I think he will keep us up and set up a platform for us to grow over the next couple of years would be good to see and maybe fill the ground again

It's not just the manager though is it?

The whole club needs overhauling and not one of Gibson's 'reviews'.

It starts at the top for me. Gibson needs to bring in a football person and he himself should step aside from any football related issues other than the business side of things.

New Chief Exec, new ideas on ticketing, new recruitment team.

And I would say the above is a priority before we even address the playing staff.

Tired of hearing that gibbon needs to appoint a footie man, people have no idea what he does daily or what even bausor does for that matter, every decision in football is a gamble and I wouldn't want to gamble on somebody else making all the decisions, I trust gibbo and he always does what's best for Boro

To be fair he's only been here for about 18 days had 5 games back to back.

The mess we are in, his not his doing, he's trying to put a fire out with a water pistol.

However if he can keep us up, he knows the league inside out and I'm sure he will do better than woody

It's all about opinions Boro-Bry and you are welcome to yours.

You are correct though, nobody knows what Gibson & Bausor do day in day out but whatever that is it's contributing to the club being in serious danger of relegation to the 3rd tier of English football.

Yes 100%, he's a proper manager and our track record gives no indication that we'd get another appointment right. As has been already said I don't think any manager would get much of a tune out of our squad at the moment.

Do we want a hoof-ball merchant to be responsible for rebuilding the squad? We've got 7 players out of contract and a few too be sold.. we're potentially looking at bringing in 10+ players which will be the core for the next 4-6 years.

I think he's the right man for right now but I personally don't want to be watching us playing for throw-ins and smashing it into the channels for 90 minutes every week..

I do yes.

Not gonna judge him after 5 games in which he has won 2 and has us outside the relegation zone. I still think we can get another 3 or 4 points out of an available 9 and that should be enough and considering what he will of walked into he will of done a good job.

Agreed with the starting eleven today so I can’t have a pop at that but it’s just a couple of substitute decisions I’m not keen on, Wing has been awful every time he has come on for some time now so not sure why he was the first port of call.

Would find a spot for Coulson Tav and Roberts in the next game.

Stojanovic

Shotton
Fry
Moukoudi

Spence
Howson
Tavernier
Coulson

Roberts

Fletcher
Assombalonga
