Sometimes I think the stadium needs a good lick of paint and some TLC - but I guess it costs a lot to run on a regular basis
Do you feel the Riverside is looking a little tired these days?

It does, but then is suppose any costs would be at the expense of the playing staff.

Don't think it's to bad TBH. Seats a bit faded but that's it.
Always love the fact it's virtually graffiti free outside. Shows people are proud of their club.

Works on the grey plastic car bumpers too if you want them back to black. Certain oils and even peanut butter do it too.

There are a few things we could do to make the stadium more aesthetically pleasing.
Sunderland painted their seats recently and looks great to be fair.
Another idea could be to have pictures and the badge right around the outside of the stadium, like Derby.
Also, one thing I noticed the other night is that the 'Riverside Stadium' sign isn't lit up on the West stand. Think it would look good to have the letters lit up.
In fairness though, I don't think making the stadium more aesthetically pleasing is something which needs to be prioritised at this time.

If you want to see what a "tired" stadium looks like have a gander at the state of the Darlington Arena. Rust on a lot of the roof members and doesn't look to have been painted since it was built. The reception area looks tatty and (I'm told) the pitch is in a "state". Though I guess that goes with playing rugby on it. I'm not sure if it was ever properly finished and it is starting to fall apart. What a disaster that was.

We spoke about the seats at a recent meeting with MFC. They are getting the blow torch people in to have a look and to get a quote. They also said funds at this moment in time could be better spent elsewhere such as the team and the likelihood is this would not happen until / if we get promoted.

Noticed how well Sunderlands actually looked since they changed the seats, looks almost new and they got their fans to volunteer to change the seats too, wonder if this is something we would look into
Riverside really is looking awful these days, probably doesnt help the area it was built in but almost all grounds ive visited that were build in the same era have been maintained much better
