What are the ingredients of lab grown meat?
I’ve not a clue and I’d be very interested to know. It’s an alternative I’d be all for if the animal suffering was negligible and there were perceptible human benefits.

Out of curiosity, what made you hop over the fence from veggie to vegan?Interesting responses. I think people are much more aware of both animal welfare and the environmental impact of eating meat and dairy. On that topic, heartening to see dairy being highlighted as equally as cruel as other forms of animal rearing.
I was veggie for about 35 years before going vegan and the change was surprisingly difficult for me as someone who enjoyed cheeses.

I've been vegetarian for a while, but not through a conscious ethical or green choice, just over time I started to find meat pretty nasty. I started to find the alternatives nicergi
Finally accepting that dairy is as cruel to the animals as beef, pig ir lamb rearing. But being veggie is a great step on the way!Out of curiosity, what made you hop over the fence from veggie to vegan?

I don’t like badgering vegans either. I never proselytise. But this thread did ask for an opinion on eating meat. No, I don't think I could go without meat. Dishes simply aren't the same for me without it, I do love my food though, and as a family, we enjoy eating out. I do buy the best produce I can afford though.
I don't like the constant badgering from vegans either, each to their own and all that.

Tbh I don't see much badgering from vegans. I do see quite a lot of them being dismissed and faintly ridiculed though.I don’t like badgering vegans either. I never proselytise. But this thread did ask for an opinion on eating meat.
