Djed Spence

Djed Spence did well out of us and equally we did even better given the hefty transfer we received.
We need to move on and wish the lad well and stop sounding like a bitter ex.
Both parties have moved on and Tommy Smith has been excellent for us.

I wouldn’t have him back - I rarely want ex footballers back.
He was very good for us and Forest.

As for his attitude?
Unlike the psychologists on here, I’ve never met him so can’t comment.

4 different managers and 3 different clubs have questioned his attitude.

He was loaned out from Spurs a few days after their assistant manager said that he wasn't trying hard enough in training.

This. If he maintains a bad attitude then that's not our problem. He's part responsible for us being 20M richer with no negatives whatsoever.
Plus he was decent to watch when he was here. So however I'd find his perceived attitude if I hung around with him regularly, I don't bear him any ill will.

1 manager was a 70 year old bully who sold hi to Forest to help them get promoted whilst we wallowed, yet again, in the Championship.
Football London reported that people at Spurs consistently praised his 'model professional attitude' in training.

lets face it, people just want to believe something so go with the flow with a bit of gossip which supports their belief

As I said, never met the young lad. So wouldn't comment on his attitude.

Spurs messed up not giving him a chance
Nope.

They messed up spunking over £20m on a bang average wingback.

Conte is correct in not giving him a chance.

Spurs are a Champions League competing team. Spence isn't anywhere near that level. And I very much doubt he ever will be.

It's not a bit of gossip, it's direct quotes from managers and coaching staff at the clubs that he's been at.

well by time he comes back he will have a fresh start with the manager meant to be gone lol

Feel free to share the quotes from the other 3 and, of course, his response and the response fromthose who play with him.
Oh.... wait.

You don't like the lad, I get it.

Just seems a bit daft to me to take a dislike to someone you haven't met over a bit of gossip.

Particularly a lad who started out so brightly for us under Woodgate, struggled under Warnock and thrived under Cooper earning us a lot of cash without us having to do much.

Release by Fulham for off the field issues.

Woodgate: "People need to realise that when you get to a certain level, you can’t drop below those standards... but you leave Djed out of the squad and everyone is asking questions. It happens. If people lower their standards, then they’ll find themselves out of the squad."

We've all heard the Warnock remarks enough, but his attitude in training was questioned by him multiple times.

Stellini (Spurs assistant manager): "Being consistent without playing much is not easy. But being consistent in training is really important for a type of player like Djed. This is the area where he can improve a lot."

He was loaned out and replaced 4 days after those quotes from Stellini.

He's clearly a decent player, but there's a theme of his effort dropping off.
The outlier to that is Nottingham Forest, where he played every single minute, they won almost every game, and he won't have had to face the same motivation issues.
