All in all it was a very funny interview, a lot of smiling, laughing even, all around as we moved from Craven Cottage to memories of going to Blackpool..

Neil Warnock:
At half time (at Fulham) I said let's try and keep that clean sheet. I know we are 1 down but lets keep 15 minutes and then things will change. Unfortunately we used to have five subs last year didn't we. I wanted to put all three on but you can't really put the last one on til 20 mins because if you end up with 10 men then its a nightmare. So we made the 2 changes after 10 then I hung on and hung on with Isiah. I had already told Tav that when Isiah comes on I wanted him to go in the middle. So, It worked out well in the end but we are going to have to get used to the 3 subs really.

Fly: Yes. That's right. After all those years of 1 sub, having 3 subs made it more of a squad game. Then last season you were more or less changing half the team, weren't you?
NW: Yeah (laughs) I have to laugh. My kids look on the sites, your sites, the fans forums. They said dad they thought you had thrown it when you put those subs on and pulled the 2 strikers off (laughs again). You'd took a bung.

I said no I didn't son. I wanted to try and get a result. But it just shows you. Everyone has a different opinion don't they on substitutes? I think when you are involved and you see them all day to day, you know what someone can do.

I thought that was the best I had seen, preparation-wise, Djed Spence, on Sunday. I am on about previous 48 hours. I thought he was a changed lad. Which was good for me. So, hopefully the penny might have dropped with him and we get more performances like that out of him.

Fly: And maybe we might see Djed at Blackpool?
NW: Absolutely yeah and he is going to get me a stick of rock on the front.
We have all been there Rob, haven't we, looking at them tram lines over the years.

Fly: Yes. (laughs)
NW: We used to have a bus from Sheffield for Illuminations. English steelworks bus. We used to get on with me dad, before your time Joe (Nicholson – Hartlepool Mail).

Fly: I know my dad used to go across to Blackpool every year in the works week.
To be honest Neil this is the first time we have played at Blackpool in the summer holidays for years, they usually give us a midweek in the winter. People have been looking forward to it.
NW: Well, it will be good that. Some of them will go night before won't they? So, its good. We have had a good summer really for the fans. We had the Cornwall trip. We had fabulous weather down there, didn't we? So, it's been good for them and now they are going to reward us with the energy like they showed on Sunday. So, it's pleasing.

Fly: Thanks very much and good luck at Blackpool.

I was one of those, but it wasn't a meltdown, I was just wondering who would play upfront. Hopefully, his son's noticed me apologizing to NW, with my tail between my legs, about 20 minutes later :ROFLMAO:
