This drives me nuts, there was no doubt that the player dived, it is not a "coming together" or "a tangle of legs" or any of those possible excuses, he knew he had played the ball beyond his reach and threw himself to the ground. The ref MUST book him. Now he has a free pass to try it again perhaps next time he'll get the penalty? If he has a yellow card he knows that if he does it again he is offski.
