Diesel Emissions Claims

I had leased diesel cars from 2008-2020 which seems to be the period of interest and am now being targeted by these "Diesel Emissions" claim companies to try to reclaim something back. I've never done anything like this and just wanted to know if anyone has any experience of claiming. For example so you put in a single claim against the 3 cars or one against each and what are the qualifiers for such a claim - is there a minimum mileage for instance?

I'm mildly interested in doing it if it doesn't cost me anything, though I suspect these companies want a fairly big slice of any settlement.

I've put in 2 claims with these 'no win no fee' companies. I just thought I'd give it a go. I think they take a 3rd if they win. It's 'free' money so wasn't overly bothered either way.

I did them with different companies as you can only claim on one car per company. I've claimed on a 2016 Golf GTD and a 2014 Seat Leon (both VAG group).

I think I put the claims in around July last year. I had heard nothing so just presumed they had come to nothing.

This thread only became 'relivent' to me 2 weeks ago. I had a email reference the Golf asking for my details (Photo ID and utility bill). They are going ahead with the claim. I believe VW have admitted guilt unlike many.

I'm not sure what's going to come of it.

I’ve seen adverts for these, what is it you are claiming for?
what are you unhappy with?

Leeching shysters trying in get money for next to no effort. Marginally behind influencers for a do not pass go, go to jail card.
