What a pleasing end to a nerve - racking match?
It turned out to worth the 320 + mile round trip.
In our little bubble - the Boro "family" - we were fretting and grieving before the start had begun.
But the two goals were excellent: Paddy`s clinical penalty and Payero`s assist to Josh "one of our own" Coburn was sweet.
A reminder to Warnock that those who arent "ready" can do it with the ball on the pitch without speaking a word(y)

Martin seemed a bit lost in the first half, but came to life a lot more in the second.
He seems "ready" for a lot more game term and getting used to the Championship.
Its difficult to get better if your arz is kept on the bench and you arent given game time by the Manager.

On the other hand - it was good to see our 5,000,000 GBP`s player stand up to the ranting of Warnock.
Warnock wont like that - but good on ya Martin.
I think Payero will still be wearing the Red Boro shirt when other non-playing staff have left the "office".

Posh huffed and puffed, but Paddy just played his game.
There`s something which makes me smile when his Northern Irish accent frames a really laid-back player, who doesnt appear bothered by his role, the Manager, or the opposition.(y)

Take That!

The lads created their own "spirit" - they gave a monkeys today.

Crooksy is deceptive: he reveals more and more ability and talent with every match.
I was reminded that he began his career as a forward.
Hes hard for the opposition to shrug off and very agile for a big fella.

Come on Paddy! You can do it!

For me, the big lad ran too much and didnt impose his physical presence as much as he can.
It maybe he didnt need to - as our approach was a lot less rigid that the Manager prefers and the other lads played more to each others strengths.
A good idea that(y)

The lads in the warm up.

Altogether a good day out.
Never mind the quality - we`l take the three points.
Lets make it 6 points come Wednesday.....
Maybe we should celebrate today first?(y)

we gonna have to give Martin a good run in the side to get him up to speed in the EFL ... plays with passion ... Warming to todays performance
