Did anyone here see The Clash live?

I have listened to this Live Concert from Middlesbrough Town Hall... but The Clash broke up well before I was born

Saw the Clash backed up by the Untertones in 1979 in Toronto. Also saw them at Rich Stadium in Buffalo with 90,000 people when they backed up the Who. Saw them quite a few years later but it was more a Joe Strummer clash as Mick Jones was not there. The first one was brilliant. The Who concert was just a big arena concert but still a great event.

The Clash and the Undertones now that is fond memories.

Town Hall late 70s with Girls School supporting I think.
I'm sure the Town hall doors were broken down afterwards.

1. Leeds Poly 1977 - a minibus from University of York, full of people wearing skinny red trousers and short hair who a few months earlier had had the full hippy set of long hair and loons. Oh what bliss it was in that dawn to be alive. It felt like the whole world and everything we took for granted was changing.
2. The Lyceum 1981
Another great gig, but by then we had realised that, as ever, everything was exactly the same. Apart from the memories

I wish I wish I was old enough to have seen them. Saw Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros three times (great, but not the same).

would like Mick Jones to gig at some point. Don’t know if he’s fussed.

Bridlington London Calling tour supported by Theatre of Hate and Mickey Dread fantastic night, also at Newcastle but definitely on the wain by then, would loved to of seen them, at the town hall but just a wee bit young then!
