Diane Abbott says she’s barred from standing

Do you know what your stance on racism is yet?
Some might say it's a bit "lazy" that you haven't managed to find it yet in this thread.

I'll throw you a bone though.

"Again I really don’t want to compare peoples experiences as all forms of racism and prejudice are equally disgusting."

So you don’t have a view on DA’s
Statement about a victim hierarchy regarding race then?

I’m honestly trying to figure out what your
Position is ,and if you don’t mind me saying pointing me to the Number of a response on here is frankly unhelpful, you surely know your own position, it’s easier to just damwell tell me.

Lots of noisy people on here are awfully quiet.

The NEC could bar her - grinding of teeth all round

The NEC could approve her and red cheeks all around

Are you ok? You seem to be talking to yourself quite a bit. There's nothing to talk about at present.

Shh, whisper, quiet.

The former cognoscenti are sleeping and blushing, desperately looking for a way to support their tallen here.

Well done Diane, absolute political mastery, the chief social democrat will have nightmares about the mayhem and embarrassment she could cause. I really hope she has quietly found a political home with anarcho- Trotskyism

Meanwhile I am so sorry to hear that Faiza Shaheen has resigned from the labour, far better that she remain and agitate or at least be properly sacked following a suicide speech denouncing Starmer and his coterie in the commons

Diane abbot political masterclass, whatever next.

She certainly isn’t doing Labour any harm in the polls! Well played Diane.

I do get the impression some people would rather suffer 5 more years of Tories decimating the country just so they can tell us they were right about Starmer all along.

I already said I will be voting labour in the GE labour, not Starmer. Labour despite Starmer. The members are labour, as the boro fans ARE boro

That she didn’t think Starmer supported her when that idiot Tory donor said the vile and racist things about her.
Ah, she's probably right then. I know that Apsana Begum has complained that she got absolutely no support, when her ex husband and his mates on the council were trying to get her jailed on trumped up charges. She went through hell and didn't get so much as a text.

I was wondering who was pulling her strings.
Abbott was a hugely important MP but any one who cares about her would have advised her to stand down at the election, she clearly has major health issues.Having said that the episode with that pig of a Tory funder was disgraceful and shamed Parliament as a whole.

She's doesnt look very well.

I have to admire her for repeatedly going back despite the unfair treatment she's received by the press for many years.

It would have been in everybody's interests to find a way to help her exit with the respect she deserves.
The problem is, as it was under Corbyn's leadership, there are some vile MPs within the party who see their job as attacking the left, and if that means the party fails then so be it.
