Looking at those other FA Cup results from 1970, I could give you the forenames of 90% of the goalscorers. If you showed me the equivalent from last week, I doubt if I'd get close to 10%.

Me too. However, I do remember Bradford City v Spurs on Match of the day. Snow covered pitch and a full house.
In those days the FA Cup meant something. Hence the high attendance figures. To us kids. The Cup was THE competition to win

Certainly was Trug, even listening to the draw was exciting, now i look on the PC after each draw to see who we have, if we're still in mind
